About Buzzmark

An independent Spanish company building practical, EU-sovereign software - and living in the inbox since 2012.

Who we are

Buzzmark is a product of Hola Money Sociedad Limitada, a company based in Vélez-Rubio, Almería, in the south of Spain. We build online-first, no-nonsense tools - software that does an unglamorous job, does it well, and gets out of the way.

We’re also the people behind Hola Gestoría, a digital gestoría that helps expats handle Spanish paperwork online and in their own language, and hola.finance, our invoicing and finances product. Buzzmark is the third member of that family.

Fourteen years sending transactional email

Buzzmark looks new. The experience behind it isn’t: we’ve been working inside company mailboxes since 2012, and today we’re responsible for many thousands of customer emails every day. Along the way we built our own sending platform and developed our own mail servers and MTAs - so we control every step between your API call and the recipient’s inbox, with no black boxes in the middle.

2012

Born in the mailbox

Buzzmark is founded as an email signature partner: every user in a company’s mailbox gets a perfectly formatted signature, managed centrally - and every email we stamp is a transactional email we send for that company. Unglamorous, useful - very us.

2018

The pivot

Microsoft and Google build signature management into their own products, and the need for ours fades. After much deliberation, Buzzmark pivots into a private transactional email service for our own products and customers.

2024

The quiet trial

We experiment with opening the platform to a broader audience in an unbranded trial. Its success settles the question of what Buzzmark should become.

2025

Buzzmark, again

Buzzmark relaunches publicly - our own platform, our own mail servers, our own MTAs, and everything we learned in the twelve years before it.

2026

A new home

We move to buzzmarkapp.com. Registrations have arrived steadily ever since, and the hive keeps getting busier.

Why we built it

Running products means sending a lot of transactional email - welcome messages, receipts, password resets, the quiet mail that simply has to arrive. We wanted a sending platform that was genuinely EU-sovereign, honest about deliverability, and actually pleasant to use. We couldn’t find one we loved, so we built it, and then opened it up. That’s Buzzmark: a enterprise ready transactional email platform with a clean API, open & click tracking, inbound parsing, webhooks and real deliverability - run entirely from the EU.

What we believe

Sovereignty by default. Your data is stored and processed in the EU, by a Spanish company outside the reach of foreign-government access regimes. It shouldn’t cost extra or take a sales call.
Honesty over hype. Email is delivered to recipients worldwide - we say so. We won’t pretend mail never leaves the EU, and we won’t claim certifications we don’t hold.
In your language. Clear docs, clear pricing, clear support. The same principle that drives Hola Gestoría drives Buzzmark.
Built to last, not to flip. We’re an independent, profitable-minded company - here for the long haul, not the next funding round.
