Why not Postmark, Resend, or SES?
Transactional email that stays in the EU. API and SMTP. 300 free a month.
If your site needs to send mail (password resets, receipts, magic links, "your table is ready"), this is for you. Developers, shops, B2B, agencies. Anywhere in the world. You do not need to be an EU company to use it.
Postmark, Resend, and SES are good at sending. They are not EU companies, and they do not keep your mail in the EU. Picking a sending region in Ireland is not the same as storing the message there.
The difference that matters
| Buzzmark | Postmark | Resend | Amazon SES | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Company | Spain (Hola Money SL) | US (ActiveCampaign) | US | AWS |
| Where data lives | Stored and processed in the EU (Frankfurt) | US | US, even if you send from Ireland | You pick a region. The company is still AWS. |
| Free forever | 300/mo, full product, no card | 100/mo, test tier | 3,000/mo, 100/day cap | AWS free tier. You build tracking, inbound, webhooks. |
| 5,000 / month | €6.50 | Jump to $15 for 10k | Needs a paid plan (daily cap) | Cheapest raw send |
| 50,000 / month | €35 | $15–18 + overage | $20 | Cheapest raw send |
| API + SMTP | Both | Both | Both | Both, more setup |
| Tracking, inbound, webhooks | Every plan | Inbound on Platform | Yes | You build it |
| Dedicated IP | €20/mo | From $50, and only at high volume | $30 on Scale | Extra, you run it |
When to pick whom
Pick Postmark if you want the famous deliverability brand and you are fine with US data.
Pick Resend if you want the biggest free allowance and React-email DX, and US storage is fine.
Pick SES if price is the only input and you will build the rest.
Pick Buzzmark if you want the mail to stay in the EU, a real product on day one (API, SMTP, tracking, inbound, webhooks), and a 10-minute start: 300 free, no card, every feature unlocked.
Switch
Migrate from Postmark or SendGrid in an afternoon. Verify the domain, grab a hive token (that is also your SMTP password), send. Same job. Different country.
